The SS320-LB25 represents an alternative to our industry acclaimed SS320-LS34 low profile meter base surge protector. It is the first line of defense against incoming transient surges attempting to enter a home and is UL 1449 4th Edition listed as a “Type 1” device. The SS320-LB25 provides maximum protection for electrical circuits and electro-mechanical appliances. It uses the latest in T-MOV technology, providing maximum protection while eliminating the risk of catastrophic failure under extended over voltage conditions.
The SS320-LB25 uses 200k IAC current limiting fuses, allowing for safe installation on residential and small commercial meter services, up to and including 320 AMP meter enclosures. The fuses are designed to handle both surge and thermal protection modes and include protective shielding and a simple dual-redundant indicator light to verify operation.
